How to Measure Total Hardness:

1. Fill the measuring tube up to the 5 ml mark with tap water.
2.  Add the indicator liquid drop by drop, swirling regularly and counting the drops (ATTENTION: Hold the bottle upright. Air inclusion in drops falsifies the measurement result)
3.  After the 1st drop, the colour changes to red
4. When the color changes from red to green, the measurement is finished. 
   1 Drop = 1 °dH (17.848ppm) (Example: 10 drops = 10 °dH (178.48ppm))
